New features
Global spam auto-purge feature in Dovecot
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we added a global spam auto-purge feature in Dovecot. Use the Auto Expunge Spam and Spam Expire Time settings in WHM’s Mailserver Configuration interface (WHM >> Home >> Service Configuration >> Mailserver Configuration) to remove spam messages from all users’ Junk folders after a set number of days.
Spam marking/unmarking in Roundcube
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we added a spam marking/unmarking feature to Roundcube. Use the Junk and Not junk buttons to train SpamAssassin™ to recognize spam and ham.
Enable or disable Calendar Delegation in Feature Manager
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we added the option to enable or disable the Calendar Delegation feature in WHM’s Feature Manager interface (WHM >> Home >> Packages >> Feature Manager). This option only appears after you install the Calendar and Contacts Server plugin.
Added Database Optimization feature to WHM’s Edit SQL Configuration interface
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we introduced a database optimization feature to WHM’s Edit SQL Configuration interface (WHM >> Home >> SQL Services >> Edit SQL). This feature will automatically suggest optimal values for your MySQL or MariaDB database server based on performance. You can also manually apply optimization suggestions to individual database values.
Added search filters to List Accounts
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we added new filters to the List Accounts interface (WHM >> Account Information >> List Accounts). These filters allow you to further refine your searches. Use the Suspended filter and Upgrade Opportunity filter to limit search results.
cPanel PHP memory limit in Tweak Settings
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we added the cPanel PHP memory limit setting to the PHP section of WHM’s Tweak Settings interface (WHM >> Home >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings). This setting specifies the memory_limit
setting in the php.ini
file for cPanel’s internal PHP. It defaults to 128 MB.
Updated features
Roundcube upgrade to 1.5
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we upgraded Roundcube to version 1.5.2. This release includes a spam marking/unmarking feature.
Improved WHM’s side navigation menu
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we improved the appearance of the side navigation menu in the WHM interface in response to customer feedback. This color contrast change reduces afterimages experienced by some users.
Deprecated and removed items
Deprecated cPAddons feature
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we deprecated the cPAddons feature and the following interfaces associated with it:
- WHM’s Install cPAddons Site Software interface (WHM >> Home >> cPanel >> Install cPAddons Site Software).
- WHM’s Manage cPAddons Site Software interface (WHM >> Home >> cPanel >> Manage cPAddons Site Software).
We plan to remove these in future versions. For more information about this deprecation, read our cPanel Deprecation Plan documentation.
Removed Enable legacy warnings from Tweak Settings
In cPanel & WHM version 104, we removed the Enable legacy warnings option from the Tweak Settings interface (WHM >> Home >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings).
